The University of Virginia is currently seeking a Children’s Miracle Network Program Coordinator, UVa Children’s Hospital.
The Children's Miracle Network Program Coordinator, UVa Children's Hospital, supports UVA Health System Development by identifying, cultivating and stewarding individuals and corporations for support of the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) annual giving campaign. Responsibilities include management of both the current national and local CMN corporate marketing and fundraising programs across a seven-county area, as well as development of new corporate partners. Maintaining strong corporate relationships, in-store training for solicitation activities, and supporting and developing CMN fundraising events constitute the major focus of this position, along with volunteer recruitment and management of various supporting committees. With the Director of Annual Giving, the incumbent will also participate in the planning and execution of various public awareness and corporate promotion campaigns, analyze and report on CMN program ROI each year, and make recommendations for continual improvement.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects and a strong orientation to teamwork with event planners, marketing and communications staff, outside vendors and other community businesses and organizations. Public speaking skills are required for regular community presentations regarding UVA Children's Hospital mission and CMN goals. This position requires strategic planning of annual CMN fund goals for each year, with program analysis, reporting and recommendations for continually increasing fundraising success, along with a practical understanding of computer-based data systems. Experience in development or fundraising and volunteer management is preferred. Some events require evening and weekend work.
The CMN Program Coordinator is a critical member of an enthusiastic team of 5 development professionals, dedicated to the support of the mission of the UVA Health System and Children's Hospital fundraising objectives.
