60 minutes
A successful nonprofit organization needs to cultivate multiple revenue streams through sound financial planning. If your organization has never developed a fundraising plan or calendar, this new, hour-long session is for you. It provides an overview of the process of strategically thinking through the components of a fundraising plan. You'll learn how to:
- Conduct an assets inventory.
- Develop a case statement.
- Identify fundraising partners.
- Prepare a fundraising plan and calendar.
As an added Plus Program on Thursday, December 3, there will be a special program on how to start and manage an individual giving program. You've probably heard from the Foundation Center and other fundraising experts that a solid fundraising plan should explore an individual giving strategy.
In this special presentation, you will learn ways to:
- Find donors.
- How to engage them in your organization.
- Identify fundraising partners.
- And, what to do to keep them as donors.
- Use of direct mail and e-mail strategies will also be discussed.
This program is FREE and will immediately follow the Introduction to Fundraising Planning class from 10:45 am - 12:00 pm on December 3. It will be presented by Sandra Renner of Renner Consulting. As a consultant with a national firm and then her own consultancy, Sandra has directed numerous successful campaigns and helped her clients raise millions of dollars, attract new donors, and significantly enhance their infrastructure and volunteer leadership.
There will be a brief break between the two programs. Feel free to come to either or both.
