Hispanics in Philanthropy Funders' Collaborative for Strong Latino Communities 2007 Capacity-Building Grant Program
Funders' Collaborative for Strong Latino Communities, a project of Hispanics in Philanthropy, brings together foundation and corporate donors to support Latino-led, Latino serving nonprofit organizations with operating budget under $2 million. Registration for the 2006-2007 grantmaking round is now open in the D.C. metropolitan region. The application deadline is January 15, 2007.
Hispanics in Philanthropy awards grants to nonprofits seeking to bolster strategic planning, fundraising capabilities, staff and board, marketing and communications, financial management, and more whose mission is to serve Latino communities in the Greater Washington region.
The Funders' Collaborative for Strong Latino Communities is an initiative of foundations, corporations, and individual donors that seeks to strengthen funders' knowledge about Latino communities and help Latino-serving nonprofits become more effective. The Collaborative works within targeted geographic locations across the United States and Latin America.
