Members of the Robert Bosch Foundation Alumni Association Keep Informed of Political and Economic Developments in Germany
Since 1984, the Robert Bosch Foundation has enabled more than 300 young American professionals to gain an in-depth understanding of the political, economic, social, and cultural environment in Germany and Europe, through an intensive nine-month fellowship program.
Each year, 20 fellows participate in a comprehensive work/study program in Germany - from high level internships in government and the private sector to attendance at numerous seminars throughout Europe. Candidates are chosen on a competitive basis from the fields of business, economics, journalism, law, and public affairs.
The Robert Bosch Foundation Alumni Association (RBFAA) was founded in 1985 by the first group of Bosch Fellows. Through their participation in the various activities of the association, Bosch alumni keep abreast of political and economic developments in Germany and form a strong professional network.
In addition to its annual meetings, the RBFAA sponsors regional events on German and transatlantic political and economic issues. The association also publishes a collection of papers submitted by the fellows at the end of their fellowship year. Fellows automatically become members of the RBFAA upon completion of the program.
