Nonprofit Dashboard: The Why and How of Developing a Performance Measurement Tool
San Francisco
Thursday, January 29, 9:30 am-12:30 pm
Do you want to be able to know at a glance how well your organization is performing? Often, people have too many reports, yet they lack the key information they need to make important decisions. The performance measurement dashboard is a proven approach, used widely in the business world, to consolidate and track the most critical measures of organizational success. This interactive workshop for senior staff and board leaders (regardless of organizational size) will introduce the dashboard concept and summarize how to develop one that is tailored to your needs. Examples, including a case study of the nonprofit, Operation Access, and hands-on exercises will help you identify what should be on your dashboard. You will learn how to organize and display information for the greatest impact to help your staff, board, donors, and other stakeholders understand key accomplishments and challenges.
Presenters:
- Benjamin Aune, executive director, Operation Access
