Major Gifts Magic: Starting a Major Gifts Program
San Francisco
Wednesday, January 21, 3:00-5:00 pm
Co-sponsored with Development Executives Roundtable (DER).
Are you ready to start a Major Gifts Program?
Does your organization have the resources and support necessary for a successful major gifts program or campaign? What are the factors to consider before launching a major gifts program? Who are the major players? What can we do to ensure a successful program? And for those of us who already have a core group of major donors, how do we grow and jumpstart our program?
Come join us for a roundtable discussion on starting a major gifts program. We'll draw upon the expertise of our two presenters and share our own experiences and advice together as a group as we support each other in building our fundraising programs.
Presenters:
- Lisa Hoffman, coach and consultant
- Melanie Hamburger, director of development, California Trout
Major Gifts Magic (MGM) is a free, peer support forum for major gifts officers and directors to share major gifts fundraising strategies and tactics, meet challenges, and solve problems. Peer leaders with expertise in each session's topic will help address issues identified by the group. MGM co-hosts Kelli-Ann Nakayama and Denise Burpee facilitate discussion and encourage all participants to contribute. Light refreshments are provided.
