GASP—Demystifying the Grant Budget
San Francisco
Monday, February 23, 12:00-2:00 pm
Co-sponsored with Development Executives Roundtable (DER)
Grantwriters Anxiety Support Program (GASP) helps new and intermediate grant writers (0-3 year's experience) build confidence and skill in their work. GASP provides an opportunity for those working in the nonprofit development field or for those interested in learning more about careers in development: (1) to share proposals currently in development with peers and "mentors" who will offer feedback and (2) to discuss topics of interest regarding the grant seeking process. GASP also offers participants a chance to develop new professional relationships, help in advancing their careers and strengthening the support network for Bay Area development professionals. Guests with expertise in each session's topic will help address issues identified by the group. GASP! hosts Jennifer Yeagley and Diana Weston will facilitate discussion and encourage all participants to contribute. Light refreshments will be served.
