GASP: Focus on Proposal Writing for Arts Organizations

San Francisco

Monday, October 6, 12:00-2:00 pm

Co-sponsored with Development Executives Roundtable (DER).

GASP (Grantseekers Anxiety Support Program) helps new and intermediate grantwriters (0-3 year’s experience) build confidence and skill in their work. GASP provides an opportunity for those learning about proposal writing to share proposals currently in development with peers and "mentors" who will offer feedback and to discuss topics of interest regarding the grantseeking process. October's meeting will specifically focus on the art of writing proposals for arts organizations.

GASP! hosts Cheryl Clarke, Juanita Carroll Young, and Diana Weston will facilitate discussion and encourage all participants to contribute. Please plan to bring your own lunch—the Foundation Center will provide light refreshments.

For information and to register, visit the DER web site.

Indicates a special "Funding for Arts Month" program.
