Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education
Established in 1981, the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education is an international, educational and professional organization dedicated to the advancement of the knowledge, theory, and quality of learning and teaching at all levels with information technology. AACE's membership includes researchers, developers, and practitioners in schools, colleges, and universities; administrators, policy decision-makers, trainers, adult educators, and other specialists in education, industry, and the government with an interest in advancing knowledge and learning with information technology in education.
Association for Education Communications and Technology
The Association for Educational Communications and Technology provides leadership in educational communications and technology by linking professionals holding a common interest in the use of educational technology and its application to the learning process.
Founded in 1978, Computer-Using Educators is a nonprofit organization that promotes the integration of technology in the classroom in all disciplines and at all educational levels from preschool through college. CUE has an active membership of over seven thousand educational professionals and supports twenty regional affiliates and four special interest groups.

International Society for Technology in Education
The International Society for Technology in Education is a nonprofit professional organization with a worldwide membership of leaders and potential leaders in educational technology dedicated to providing leadership and service to improve teaching and learning by advancing the effective use of technology in K-12 education and teacher education. ISTE provides its members with information, networking opportunities, and guidance as they face the challenge of incorporating computers, the Internet, and other new technologies into their schools.
International Technology Education Association
The International Technology Education Association is the largest professional educational association, principal voice, and information clearinghouse devoted to enhancing technology education through experiences in schools (K-12). Its membership encompasses individuals and institutions throughout the world with the primary membership in North America. ITEA's mission is to advance technological capabilities for all people and to nurture and promote the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits.
Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education
The Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education is an international association of individual teacher educators, and affiliated organizations of teacher educators in all disciplines, who are interested in the creation and dissemination of knowledge about the use of information technology in teacher education and faculty/staff development. The Society seeks to promote research, scholarship, collaboration, exchange, and support among its membership, and to actively foster the development of new national organizations where a need emerges.
