Komen Quad Cities Affiliate Accepting Grant Requests

The Quad Cities Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is accepting grant requests for programs that provide unique breast cancer education, outreach, or screening and treatment for the medically underserved.

The affiliate will focus its resources on projects within its service area that increase the availability of breast health information, increase the availability of financial assistance information, and increase the accessibility of affordable breast health care. Grant applicants must be nonprofit organizations providing services in the Komen Quad Cities Affiliate service area, including Scott, Muscatine, Cedar, and Clinton counties in Iowa; and Rock Island, Henry, Mercer, and Whiteside counties in Illinois.

The affiliate awards grants once a year. Research projects will not be considered. Organizations interested in applying for grants should contact the offices of the Komen Quad Cities Affiliate. Visit the affiliate Web site for further information and contact details.
