Minnesota Community Foundation Accepting Applications for Transformational Fund
Minnesota Community Foundation Accepting Applications for Transformational Fund
The Minnesota Community Foundation is accepting applications for its Transformational Fund, which provides a one-time grant of up to $500,000 to a nonprofit organization that is poised for long-term, organization-wide, sustainable change.
The grant is intended to help an organization improve its effectiveness and efficiency, achieve dramatic growth, and move to the next level.
To be eligible, organizations must serve Hennepin County residents and work primarily to help individuals and families become self-sufficient. Organizations with education programs that directly lead to self-sufficiency are encouraged to apply. Applicants should demonstrate a strong business model, a clear understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the nonprofit's current infrastructure, and commitment from the staff and board to the transformative change the grant would help bring about.
The recipient organization may apply grant funds to any expense related to its transformation, including staff salaries, consultants, new database technology, and more.
Visit the foundation Web site for complete program information, an FAQ, and the online application.
