Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation Invites Applications for Community Grants Program
The Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental of Illinois, is launching a community grants program to provide funding for programs and organizations working to improve the oral health of children within the state.
The foundation will award grants of $1,000 to $10,000 to nonprofit organizations that provide oral health education and/or access to oral health resources to Illinois children.
Illinois public charities with tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status, and public or governmental entities, such as public schools or health departments, are eligible to apply.
Generally, the foundation will give preference to applicants that address identified needs among underserved segments of the population, build awareness and educate Illinois children on the connection between overall health and oral health, are financially and operationally stable, fulfill a unique or unduplicated need, have a plan and process in place to measure and report outcomes, and have an innovative model with proven success as well as the potential to be replicated throughout the state.
Visit the Delta Dental of Illinois Web site for complete program guidelines and the online application.
