Samuel Harris Fund for Children's Dental Health Grants Program Invites Applications
Samuel Harris Fund for Children's Dental Health Grants Program Invites Applications
The American Dental Association Foundation established the Samuel Harris Fund for Children's Dental Health as a permanent endowment fund dedicated to improving oral health for children, particularly through prevention of childhood caries.
For 2009-10, organizations that sponsor programs for mothers and caregivers to help reduce the incidence of early childhood caries are invited to submit an application.
Competitive grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded solely for prenatal and postnatal oral health instruction for mothers/caregivers. Due to limited funding this year, approximately eight to ten grants will be made.
The complete Request for Proposals is available at the ADA Foundation Web site.
