San Francisco Foundation Bay Area Documentary Fund Issues Call for Proposals
The San Francisco Foundation has announced a call for proposals for the second round of the San Francisco Foundation Bay Area Documentary Fund. The foundation invites accomplished film/video/digital media artists to apply to the fund for early production support.
Awards ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 are given annually to support documentary projects in early production phases by experienced filmmakers with an esteemed body of previously created work.
Projects should address issues pertinent to the Bay Area counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, and/or San Mateo. The foundation is interested in documentaries that explore issues which have been historically underexposed, misinterpreted, or ignored.
