National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund Accepting Applications for Advocacy in Action Grants
The National Breast Cancer Coalition, a grassroots membership organization dedicated to ending breast cancer, has announced a call for applications for advocacy grants to be awarded in 2009, with a potential for renewal in 2010.
The NBCC Fund, the coalition's research and education arm, will award up to twenty grants of $5,000 through under its Advocacy in Action program to nonprofits working on breast cancer public policy and advocacy in local communities. Recipient organizations will be expected to further public policy and legislative priorities of NBCC, as well as advance their own grassroots advocacy.
Current NBCC member groups that are 501(c)(3) and/or 501(c)(4) organizations are eligible to apply.
