Verizon Foundation Offers Grants to Massachusetts Nonprofits Addressing Issue of Domestic Violence
The Verizon Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Verizon Communications, invites nonprofit agencies in Massachusetts to compete for ten one-year grants of $10,000 each to support domestic violence service initiatives.
The Verizon Foundation Domestic Violence Solutions Awards will support the use of technology to improve domestic violence prevention and awareness programs, particularly to enable an agency to more effectively reach the community it serves, provide participants with strategies for enhancing their safety and use of community resources, or provide job-related technology training for individuals participating in domestic violence programs.
To qualify for funding, applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations whose programs benefit underserved communities in Massachusetts.
