Irvine Foundation Invites Applications for Creative Connections Fund
Irvine Foundation Invites Applications for Creative Connections Fund
The James Irvine Foundation's Creative Connections Fund supports creativity and the expansion of diverse, relevant cultural offerings in local communities across California (primarily outside San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties).
The fund aims to support small and midsize arts organizations with a diversity of projects and ideas. The fund will consider requests for projects of up to twenty-four months that create new work or offer a contemporary reinterpretation of classic work and involve individual artists in collaboration with a local nonprofit organization.
The fund offers project grants of up to $50,000 each, over a maximum of twenty-four months.
Applicant organizations must be located in California and have 501(c)(3) status or an established relationship with an approved fiscal sponsor. No more than 50 percent of an applicant organization's revenues may come from government sources. The applicant must have annual revenue of at least $100,000, and its project grant request can be for no more than 10 percent of its annual organizational budget, up to a maximum of $50,000.
