Retirement Research Foundation Offers Accessible Faith Grants for Chicago Area Houses of Worship
Retirement Research Foundation Offers Accessible Faith Grants for Chicago Area Houses of Worship
The Retirement Research Foundation supports programs that provide new and expanded opportunities for older adults to engage in meaningful roles in society.
Through its Accessible Faith Grant program, the foundation makes funds available to Chicago-area houses of worship for accessibility improvements to their facilities. Such improvements should contribute to increased participation of elderly persons and people with disabilities in the programs, services, and activities of the facilities.
A total of $300,000 in Accessible Faith Grants is available from the foundation in 2007. Grants will be awarded for up to 50 percent of a project’s total cost. The maximum grant amount is $30,000.
Visit the Retirement Research Foundation Web site for a complete program description and application materials.
