On The Web - ArtBabble
To showcase video art content from a variety of sources and perspectives in a high-quality format.
ArtBabble was designed and launched by the Indianapolis Museum of Art in partnership with several other leading arts institutions. Created to promote various forms of art through video, ArtBabble is supported primarily by a grant from the Ball Brothers Foundation.
Outstanding Web Features:
On the ArtBabble Web site, visitors can view and rate videos collected from numerous sources, including Art21, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the New York Public Library. Videos can be found by artist, series, channel, and partner. Registered users can store their favorite videos, leave comments, and search a list of featured artists.
