UPS Store Launches Toys for Tots Literacy Program Donation Drive
The UPS Store has announced that it will launch its annual holiday donation drive for the Toys for Tots Literacy Program, an initiative of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, on November 1. Proceeds from the sale of donation cards at UPS Store locations through December 31 will be used to purchase books for economically disadvantaged children in the United States. Direct donations to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation can be made through the UPS Store Facebook page. Since it was created in 2008, the UPS Store has raised more than $2 million for the Toys for Tots Literacy Program. "Education is one of the keys to helping children become successful in life," said UPS Store president Tim Davis. "During the holidays, the UPS Store hopes to make a positive impact by helping children break the cycle of poverty through literacy and education."
