Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum Receives $3.5 Million Gift From Inasmuch Foundation

The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum has announced a $3.5 million capital campaign gift — the largest in its eleven-year history — from the Inasmuch Foundation.

The gift will be added to the organization's 9:03 Fund, through which it seeks to raise $10 million in endowment funds and an additional $5 million for museum enhancements. The gift from the foundation increases to $11.1 million the total raised by the campaign to date. Construction is scheduled to begin later this year.

"This gift is transformational to our institution," said the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum executive director Kari Watkins. "Inasmuch Foundation has been supportive of the memorial and museum from the beginning, but this was over the top and will change how people learn this story for years to come. The enhancements made possible by this historic gift will allow us to expand the story to educate, inform, and inspire the thousands of visitors in new ways."
