Daniels Fund Announces $5.1 Million in Grants

The Denver-based Daniels Fund has announced grants totaling $5.1 million to nonprofit organizations in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

The bulk of the grants were awarded to organizations working to assist youth, seniors, and the homeless. Grant recipients in Colorado include the Signal Behavioral Health Network in Denver, the ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter, the Colorado Rapids Soccer for Success Club, and the Gathering Place. "These organizations set a high standard for excellence in serving the people of Colorado," said Daniels Fund president and CEO Linda Childears. "We are honored to support their efforts to make life better in communities across the state."

In New Mexico, grants were awarded to the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Albuquerque, the Santa Fe-based Interfaith Community Shelter, the Taos Coalition to End Homelessness, and the YWCA of the Middle Rio Grande, while in Utah grants were awarded to the Utah International Charter School and the YWCA of Salt Lake City. And in Wyoming, the fund awarded grants to the Laramie Youth Skating Program and the Ten Sleep Community Youth Program.
