Reynolds Foundation Suspends Capital Grants Program

PND - Reynolds Foundation Suspends Capital Grants Program

The Las Vegas-based Donald W. Reynolds Foundation has announced the temporary suspension of its Capital Grants Program, effective immediately.

In a letter to nonprofits in Arkansas, Nevada, and Oklahoma, foundation president Steven L. Anderson stressed that the suspension will not affect current grant recipients or the foundation's Charitable Food Distribution, Children's Discovery Center Networks, and Women's Shelters initiatives. Jackson gave no reason for the suspension, which is pending review of the program by the foundation's board of trustees.

Since its establishment in 1995, the Capital Grants Program — the foundation's oldest and largest — has awarded more than $337 million dollars to forty-eight nonprofit organizations in Arkansas, Nevada, and Oklahoma.
