DESCRIPTION

The Corporate Development Division of the American Diabetes Association is seeking an individual to work closely with key Corporate Sponsors that participate in our National Program/Fundraising Program. This entry level managerial position will focus on communications and sponsorship development; serving as the primary point person for key sponsor activities and helping to develop creative ideas for further collaboration.

Manages, tracks and communicates the delivery of sponsor benefits related to assigned National Sponsors. Supports internal systems related to tracking and reporting each sponsor’s progress. Prepares annual fulfillment audits for corporations that indicate results of their sponsorship nationwide and individual performance measures. Prepares written communication for internal audiences related to new national sponsors. Prepares documentation and support for Corporate Recognition Program and manages all other elements of this multi-faceted project. Manages the sampling program for national events, as well as overseeing the logistics and meeting support for the Annual Corporate Sponsor Summit. Develops written communications to update and support our national sponsors and manages our Corporate Sponsorship Intranet site.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Two to five years of progressively responsible sales/marketing experience
  • Project/Program Management experience essential
  • Ability to work independently and handle a variety of assignments simultaneously essential
  • Must be computer literate with EXCELLENT demonstrated and verifiable skills in the following areas: written communication; forming and maintaining client relationships; organizational and process development skills; oral presentations and multi-tasking.
