The New York Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program, Adelphi University, School of Social Work invites applications for the Program Supervisor, a 12-month administrative position.
Reporting to the Director of the Breast Cancer Program, the Program Supervisor will be responsible for the overall administrative supervision and day to day operations of the Breast Cancer Hotline, Volunteer program, Marketing, Outreach, Technology, Bilingual Services and Evaluation. The Program Supervisor consults and coordinates with Director, staff and volunteers.
The successful candidate is a service oriented, collegial individual, whose responsibilities include overseeing the day to day operations of the Breast Cancer Program: providing administrative supervision to various Social Work and Ancillary staff; participating in program planning of existing and new clinical and educational projects. The Program Supervisor will coordinate evaluation projects; collaborate with community agencies; and serve on community advisory committees.
Applicants should have strong administrative and leadership skills; excellent written and verbal communication; as well as effective time management and organizational skills. Individuals must have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Public Health or Business Administration from an accredited program, as well as 5 or more years of supervisory and administrative experience.
