Willamette Heritage Center - Executive Director
The Willamette Heritage Center in Salem, Oregon is seeking an Executive Director. The Center seeks a forward-thinking executive with strong management skills, proven development experience and a solid fiscal background to provide leadership and direction. The ideal candidate will have excellent demonstrable administrative, leadership, communication (written and oral), financial/budgeting, fund-raising and management skills.
The Executive Director will lead and supervise staff; prepare strategic long-term and short-term plans, goals and objectives; prepare the annual budget including budgetary projections for personnel resources, facilities, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to meet long-term and short-term plans and goals; direct and engage in fundraising solicitations; oversee media relations and marketing of museum exhibit programs and services to the general public.
The Executive Director will have a strong work ethic, outgoing personality, and be an enthusiastic supporter of the mission and vision of the Center. This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned professional with diversified leadership, management and fundraising skills to build on the financial and organizational strengths of the museum, while exercising a strong leadership role in charting the future of this vibrant and expanding nonprofit organization.
