The 5th Avenue Theatre is looking for a qualified candidate to join our Development Office as a part-time Development Assistant focused on data entry.
Duties:

Process and track donor contributions using our database, Tessitura.

Issue acknowledgement letters for all contributions in a timely fashion, making sure that each donor receives all of the benefits associated with Annual Fund campaigns.

Act as day-to-day liaison between the Development and Telefunding Departments in terms of processing donations and making sure callers receive credit for donations received via mail or online.

Maintain and organize telefunding pledges and will considers, sending out pledge reminder letters to potential donors.

Run automated pledge billing on the 1st and 15th of every month.

Contact donors when billing issues arise and resolve these issues in a timely manner.

Provide administrative assistance to Development Office staff (invitation stuffing, reprinting tax receipts for donors, etc.)

Assist the Individual Giving Manager with the production and mailing of direct mail pieces.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
It is important that the person in this position is able to handle a significant level of responsibility, work independently while also being a team player working closely with other members of the Development team. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Experience with Tessitura is preferred.
