Discovery Gateway - Development Manager
Full time position. Reports to: Development and External Relations Director.
The Development Manager is under the direction of the Development and External Relations Director, assists in identifying, analyzing, and developing sources of support income to maximize support revenue. Responsible for soliciting foundations and government funding sources, implementing of annual fund activities for donors below $1,000 and direct support of corporate sponsorship negotiations.
*Requirements - You MUST include majors in the requirements:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of related development, grant writing or direct mail experience. Must be computer proficient, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising goals and objectives.
