Alumni Relations Coordinator

Bennington College seeks a dynamic Alumni Relations Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Alumni Programs. This position will play a key role in helping to foster connections between alumni and in engaging alumni in the life of the College today through a range of on-campus and regional events, growing and creative alumni programming, and communications with the alumni community across a range of platforms. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing and implementing the logistics of College-sponsored and alumni-driven events; will support the department in alumni involvement opportunities; and will help to develop and implement a successful strategy around social media and electronic communications.

Candidates should possess: excellent written communication and interpersonal skills; an ability to listen and engage a wide range of alumni; a deep understanding of and experience with social media tools and communities; an ability to prioritize work under deadlines and pressure; a desire to work in a collaborative environment; an appreciation of and eagerness to work with an innovative and trailblazing alumni community. A bachelor’s degree is required. Some travel, evening and weekend work is required for alumni events staffing.
