RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership/oversight of all medical and health service programs;

Direct clinical care for a caseload of clients with severe and persistent mental illness;

Quality assurance and compliance - medical risk management and health care related regulations; includes development of policies and protocols and supervision of medical practitioners;

Liaison with Contra Costa county medical providers and systems.
The position is estimated at approximately 20 hours/week.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid and current licensure to practice medicine in the state of California and Board-certified or Board-eligible in Psychiatry;

Candidates must be familiar with a Mental Health Recovery orientation, possess solid working knowledge of medical documentation and excellent communication skills. Teamwork, interpersonal flexibility and basic computer proficiency are also required;
