REPORTS TO: Development Operations Administrator
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Development Operations Coordinator is a full-time, exempt member of the MIND Development staff.
The Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Development Department and is responsible for tracking cultivation and solicitation progress. This includes but is not limited to coordination of Development calendar; gift acknowledgement and donor recognition process including management of the various campaign funds; supporting data entry efforts of Development officers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Database Management
- Data Entry
- Field Database Questions
- Maintain quality/timeliness of data entry
- Manage pipeline report data
- Run Sage/e-Tapestry reports
Manage Department documents
- Organize Department Documents
- Manage basic department communications e.g. donor acknowledgements
- Development Network Files Management
- Send materials to outside staff
- Create donor packets
- Prepare proposal packets
- Development Calendar, schedule/maintain
- Coordination/agenda/minutes for department meetings
- Coordinate department hiring processes
- Financial Management
- Maintain/report on department budget
- Maintain/report on department revenue
- Maintain department supplies, invoices to Finance
- Generate invoices for donors
- Execute/document credit card transactions
- Execute incoming contributions process
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred with 3-4 years administrative experience required. Knowledge of computer database systems and software packages. Knowledge of donor management systems (i.e. Sage, e-Tapestry, Netsuite). Accounting and/or bookkeeping experience desired. Application Instructions
