Director of Development

Sierra Business Council (SBC) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to foster thriving communities through “on-the-ground” projects that promote, develop and amplify the regions social, environmental and economic capital. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as Director of Development. The Director of Development will be responsible for helping to design and execute the strategy to financially support the organization and its projects in coordination with the President and other staff, maintain and expand SBC’s funding from private foundations, and maintain and develop new sources of income from sponsors, individuals, events, and government grants.
