Director of Development

Friends Village at Woodstown seeks a seasoned Development Director to oversee all development and fundraising activities of the South Jersey, Quaker affiliated non-profit. Responsibilities include: Annual Appeals, Research Funding Sources, Develop Foundation Support, Complete Grant Writing/Development, Coordinate Special Events, Major Gift Development and Oversee Volunteer Program.

About Friends Village: Friends Village is a non-profit organization established in 1896 to care for older adults. It is now a full service, continuing care retirement community serving the Delaware Valley that offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Care and Rehabilitation services to seniors of all faiths.

Minimum Requirements: BA degree, 5+ years' experience in development with a proven record of success in the field. Demonstrated writing ability required. Computer proficiency in Sage Fundraising software or similar database, MS Office, XL, etc. Understanding of finanacial spreadsheets, ability to work as a senior member of organization's management team.
