Director of Charitable Giving

Wanted: Director of Charitable Giving - The Order of the Eastern Star (OES) of California, a fraternal non-profit organization, desires a motivated, FT, experienced Director of Charitable Giving. Successful candidate will provide leadership and direction for all fund development, planned giving and endowment growth. Must be able to design, prepare and carry out strategies and detailed action plans for all fund development and planned giving activities. Must attend scheduled meetings of both the OES Foundation Board and the Senior Living Community Board and other meetings as requested.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum of five years of successful fundraising and solicitation of annual and major gifts. Demonstrated ability to manage annual and planned giving programs. Required experience in development and engagement of committee and volunteer support. Excellent organizational, written, computer and verbal communication skills are mandatory. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Available to travel throughout California periodically as well as occasional night and weekend hours as required.

OES office is located in Southern California in the Yorba Linda area. Salary commensurate with experience. Benefit package will also be provided.
