PETA Foundation - Donor Data Information Manager
Position Objective:
To optimize the collection and usage of supported organizations' constituent data through effective product and data management
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
In consultation and verified compliance with the objectives, standards, and requirements communicated by the PETA Foundation and its supported organizations:
- Lead a team to serve the needs of the PETA Foundation and its supported organizations in evaluating and prioritizing constituent management system functionality and data requirements
- Construct the constituent management product implementation roadmap
- Work with the constituent management system vendor and other third-party vendors to ensure that the needs of the PETA Foundation and its supported organizations are heard, prioritized, and implemented
- Establish supported organizations' constituent management data definitions
- Define and monitor data synchronizations between the constituent management system and related subsystems
- Establish and oversee data-hygiene routines, using both proactive and reactive measures
- Serve as the "gatekeeper" for all supported organizations' constituent databases by providing analysis on access-level permissions in order to ensure database security and integrity
- Facilitate constituent management data extractions for users in a variety of departments of the PETA Foundation and its supported organizations
- Perform business analysis, including defining objectives and scope, documenting requirements, formulating and recommending alternatives, developing test objectives, and facilitating the development of test plans
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of seven years of constituent relationship management experience
- Proven familiarity with donor database systems and direct marketing data
- Demonstrated ability to articulate an understanding of the future state of constituent management and associated tasks and activities
- Proven ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team and gain organizational consensus on systems and data usage
- Proven knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
- Ability to anticipate problems, identify opportunities, and initiate proactive approaches
- Commitment to the objectives of the organization
