Bubble Foundation - Executive Director

Bubble Foundation, Ltd., is seeking an Executive Director who will oversee Foundation programs, internal functions, and external relations. This position is responsible for ensuring that programs are mission-driven, financially healthy, and fully documented so that they may expand and maintain a competitive position amongst public and private funders. In collaboration with the management team, the Executive Director will drive the overall Bubble strategy, brand, and public image, and will serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors.

Job Responsibilities:

Program Management:

  • Oversee all Bubble programs and staff members, including biannual staff reviews
  • Make site visits to all programs on a regular basis and provide feedback to program managers
  • Manage relationships at the administration level with all schools – past, present and future
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation and impact analysis for all programs
  • Perform annual review of programs with the goal of continued expansion and content management
  • Attend events as needed and provide general oversight and support

Strategic Planning

Drive the creation and execution of 1, 3, and 5-year strategic plans for Bubble in collaboration with the Board of Directors

Marketing/Public Relations:

  • Develop, implement, and manage all Bubble marketing efforts
  • Manage the design and production of Bubble promotional materials
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Bubble media inquiries
  • Direct all internal and external communications efforts

Financial Management:

  • In collaboration with the Board, participate in all financial/budgetary planning to support the strategic objectives of Bubble
  • Review all month-end closing activities with the Bookkeeper, including programmatic expense breakdown, balance sheet reconciliation, and overhead cost allocation
  • Identify measures for cost reduction across operations/programs, and coordinate discounted rates for bulk/repeat purchases

Human Resources/Compliance

  • Manage hiring of part-time and full-time staff, including interviewing all applicants with appropriate members of the Bubble team
  • Oversee recruitment and orientation for all Bubble volunteers
  • Oversee ongoing review of the employee manual, ensure existing employees understand employment policies, and present employee manual/address policies to all new hires
  • Ensure program/operating adherence to state and federal regulations
  • Research and institute insurance policies to protect the interests of Bubble and its Board

Fundraising Management

  • Work with the Board to advance all fundraising efforts – including identifying, cultivating, and securing funding from government, corporate sector, foundation, and individual donors
  • Contribute to development and preparation of grant proposals and reporting
  • Assist with Board recruitment and cultivation

This is a full-time position that reports to the Bubble Board of Directors
