Development Associate

Immediate opening for a full-time staff position to significantly support and impact annual fundraising efforts for award-winning, Off-Broadway classical theatre with $3.2 million annual budget, which will increase significantly along with its contributed income goals with the opening of its first home in the Downtown Brooklyn Cultural District in fall 2013. Responsibilities will include direct mail and e-mail solicitation campaigns, prospect identification and research, donor relations, gift tracking and acknowledgement, special events management, and participation in varied departmental tasks/support of overall fundraising effort. Qualified application will have college degree, 2+ years development experience, write persuasively, possess outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, and a range of computer skills (Microsoft Office). Raiser’s Edge/database experience preferred. Salary low 30s.
