Central Washington University - Call Center Manager
The Call Center Manager plans, implements and manages the phonathon, establishing goals, processes and procedures for the annual phonathon fundraising campaign to raise its annual goal from alumni, parents and friends. The Call Center Manager is responsible for hiring, training and supervising student staff, while administering and evaluating a salary bonus and incentive program for up to 50 student employees. In addition will prepare detailed reports and statistical analysis and will communicate with the chief advancement officer, executive officer for alumni relations, assistant director of annual fund, development officers and advancement staff to prepare scripts, fact sheets and other printed materials. Identifies leadership annual giving prospects through the phonathon and assists with other fundraising activities as assigned by the supervisor.
Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years’ experience working with phonathon campaigns or demonstrated knowledge and experience as a fundraiser
OR
equivalent combination of bachelor’s degree and experience.

Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite.

Effectively communicate both verbally and written.

Demonstrated ability to supervise student staff.
Preferred qualifications:

Experience or work within a higher education development office.

Demonstrated ability to analyze statistics and prepare reports.

Management and leadership experience.
-
Strong customer service skills.
-
Experience working with a diverse student body and staff.
Working conditions:
Attendance at University and College events and functions which may occur in the evening and/or weekends.Travel away from the office will be required including evening and weekend work.Incumbent must display personal characteristics associated with successful development professionals, including a vigorous work ethic, sound judgment, impeccable integrity, demonstrated initiative, appropriate professional appearance, and attitude and personality to work effectively with colleagues, Central Washington University faculty and staff members, volunteers, and constituents.
Job duties:

Recruit, hire, train, and manage a two-tiered team of up to 40 professional student workers to serve as the face and voice of the university in the Phonathon program in the capacity of callers and student managers.

Conduct all administrative and programmatic functions of the annual calling program, including yearly strategy sessions, time lines and hierarchies, messaging, and calling incentives.

Assist in planning all annual fund activities for segmented constituents, including Phonathon(s), web/email, and personal solicitation.

Advise and implement the Athletics Phonathon campaign including athlete-caller training, scheduling, and messaging.

Work closely with the senior class on their class gift campaign and assist with current student giving plans and activities as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
