The Director of Advancement is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive special and major gifts fundraising program to generate private gift support for the College of Public Health. He/She is also directly responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects. The College of Public Health prepares students to meet the growing national needs for public health professionals and is one of two such colleges in Ohio.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; three - four years progressively responsible fundraising and/or sales experience is required. Experience in higher education fundraising is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with major donors. Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
The Institutional Advancement office has just completed the university’s Centennial Campaign and raised a record-breaking $265 million, surpassing its goal by $15 million.
