Executive Assistant (Part-Time)

Puccini Foundation - Executive Assistant
A new foundation in an innovative and progressive field of veterinary and human medical research seeks a part-time executive assistant to the Foundation's founder and president. The position will entail 10-15 hours a week, with occasional opportunities to work from home. Personal flexibility is important.
The position involves administrative and clerical tasks from basic to complex, including:
-
organizing, filing and maintaining both traditional and digital files of the President;
-
organizing calendar, conference calls and meetings;
-
conducting and organizing basic online research,
-
receiving and responding to emails and correspondence;
-
assisting with basic social media promotion (Facebook, Twitter, Google+);
-
document creation and management using MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, GoogleDocs, DropBox, and similar software, Word Press experience a plus;
-
assistance with event planning and marketing (prior experience a plus);
-
providing timely, prioritized, organizational support to the President.
The successful candidate will be:
-
a skilled organizer with excellent verbal and written communication skill;,
-
a strategic thinker who works creatively, offering solutions rather than simply carrying out requests;
-
someone adept at prioritization.
Only individuals with proven experience in the above categories will be considered for this position. Experience working with a non-profit organization and executives would be a plus, but is not a requisite.
The individual we seek will embrace the role of keeping the Foundation and its President organized and focused on the success of the Foundation's mission and activities.
