ACT - Social Impact Investment Manager
The Social Impact Investment Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, Foundation to coordinate all operational and programmatic social impact investment activities for the ACT Foundation including responsibilities requiring a high degree of discretion and independent judgment. The Social Impact Investment Manager will play a central role in managing the social impact investment activities of the Foundation: provide program and operational leadership for the social impact investment team and act as a liaison between Foundation staff, grantees and internal/external partners.
Typical work-related activities include:

Design and institutionalize the social impact investment process to include soliciting proposals, reviewing proposals; monitoring investment reports, contracts and payments; creating process flows, procedures and protocols; and documenting accordingly.

Prepare board and meeting documents: presentations, packets, minutes, briefs and budget/spending worksheets.

Lead, shape and manage external program-related events such as meetings, convenings, conferences and presentations.

Build, coordinate and nurture relationships among internal and external partners, provide leadership and guidance as needed.

Perform program-related research and special projects as assigned - collect and compile data for specialized reports and presentations; generate reports as needed.

With oversight, manage Foundation budget including office purchases, p-card reconciliation and prepare quarterly budget updates.

Communicate effectively and efficiently (orally and in writing) with staff and clients.

Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions regarding assigned projects. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security regarding corporate and personnel information and documents.

Interface with investment supports (legal, finance) to comply with internal audit procedures, grant tracking procedures and investment processes.

Undertake projects and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred), a passion for the Foundation’s mission and interest in its strategic initiatives and major program areas and 4 to 5 years of related experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. In addition, social media experience (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter); an intermediate competency with expanded MS Office Suite; graphic design experience; and, demonstrated excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
