Wall Street Leadership Management Director

Wall Street Leadership Management Director, AIPAC - American Israel Public Affairs Committee

The Leadership Management Director for AIPAC's Wall Street Division is responsible for helping develop one of the fastest growing affinity groups for AIPAC nationwide. The Leadership Management Director is responsible for the strategic engagement of committed AIPAC members in the region, and for spearheading their deeper engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing AIPAC Club members
  • Solicit annual membership, and obtain increased donations and participation among new and existing AIPAC club members
  • Work with and report to an Area Director to identify creative and innovative strategies to achieve development goals
  • Plan small and large-scale membership and fundraising events
  • Deliver speeches and foreign policy briefings to small and large audiences
  • Recruit members and prospects to attend national AIPAC events
  • Participate in weekly regional and national staff meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate experience
  • Strong passion for Israel and commitment to the U.S.- Israel relationship
  • 2+ years’ of work experience
  • Sales/Fundraising experience and donor/client management preferred
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills and inter-personal skills
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated, independent at times, able to multi-task and take direction well
  • Strong understanding of building networks and "force-multiplying" among a diverse donor/client base
  • Knowledge of Israel and Middle East politics
  • Understanding of the local and national political landscape
  • Experience working with the local Jewish community preferred but not required
  • Experience with event planning
  • Ability to work effectively with AIPAC's lay leadership
  • Full competencies in the Microsoft Office Suites
