Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer
Pepperdine University - Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer
Support efforts to increase grant funding for Pepperdine University, Seaver College, School of Public Policy, School of Law, Graduate School of Education and Psychology, and the Graziadio School of Business and Management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; 3-5 years of experience in professional grant wiring/editing required; outstanding, demonstrated oral and written communication skills required; strong problem solving skills required; ability to meet deadlines with tight time constraints; ability to think critically required; excellent time management skills required; flexibility to work independently or collaboratively; expertise with computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and the Internet required.
Prior employment as a grant writer in higher education preferred; superior skills with fine details preferred; negotiation abilities preferred; prior research experience preferred; knowledge and experience with Raiser's Edge software preferred; experience with database development preferred.
