With the support of the Board, PCMH CEO Jacob Barak has spearheaded an aggressive real estate and housing development strategy, focusing on partnerships with for-profit investors and support from the federal tax credit affordable housing program. This strategic refocus has allowed the agency’s market value assets to grow exponentially (currently over $200 million), and today there are over 800 operational housing units under the PCMH umbrella, with hundreds of other apartments in various stages of development, across the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn.
