RESPONSIBILITIES:
In collaboration with expert staff, you will foster relationships with existing donors while developing/implementing strategies to secure significant support from varied donors including; bilateral and multi-lateral aid agencies and other public sector funders, foundations, , and private sector partners. Using your advanced interpersonal skills and complex proposal development experience, you will manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to creatively identify, engage and cultivate relationships with new and existing funding partners, and advocate for policies that lead to the mobilization of more resources for the work undertaken by the client.
If you can successfully shift gears between the big picture and the smallest details, communicate complex scientific information for a range of audiences (especially in the proposal writing context) and possess a track record for managing long-term proposals and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, our client is seeking your expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This unique position requires a strategic writer, editor and communicator with 5-10+ years experience successfully developing and managing funding proposals to institutional donors (bi/multilateral, government, corporations, foundations, etc). Your knowledge of international health and development issues, particularly infectious diseases, R&D for new drugs, vaccines, and/or diagnostics is highly preferred but not required. Previous management experience is also highly desirable. Advance degree preferred. Application Instructions
