Educational Alliance - Development Assistant (Temp.)
A nonprofit located in downtown Manhattan, seeks an experienced Temporary Development Assistant to provide a high level of administrative support to the fundraising team with a heavy emphasis on entering donor information in Raiser’s Edge database and handling database queries.
This dynamic self-starter will provide routine administrative support to agency’s fundraising team, including phones, filing, faxing, and copying; develop financial reports/statistics and reconcile data between Raiser’s Edge & accounting; assist in arranging, coordinating and facilitating meetings; write acknowledgement letters and other correspondence; handle mailing and reports for the annual gala.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and proficiency in Raiser’s Edge required. At least 2 years of experience in similar capacity supporting executives. Excellent customer service, organizational, and administrative skills along with effective communication. Ability to multitask and handle challenging situations in a professional, courteous and friendly manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. Willingness to work as part of a team and show initiative and resourcefulness. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and assimilate facts accurately and easily.
