Major Gifts Officer
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital seeks a dynamic individual to cultivate, solicit, and close major gifts within the #1-ranked hospital in New York (U.S.News & World Report). As Major Gifts Officer, you'll manage a portfolio of significant prospects at the $100,000 or above level for our capital campaign program. You'll design, implement and assess effective solicitation strategies, maintain knowledge of relevant clinical developments and fundraising priorities and provide outstanding customer service.
Ensure efficient utilization of hospital leadership for philanthropic opportunities. Coordinate with Directors of Planned Giving, as well as stewardship and events personnel. Serve as an inspiring and effective spokesperson for our world-renowned university hospital and its campaign.

Key Criteria
Master's-prepared candidates are preferred. A minimum of three years of progressive development experience with demonstrated success in soliciting and closing gifts is required.
Candidates must exhibit superior communication and organizational skills, comprehensive knowledge of all facets of development, and extensive familiarity with the New York City philanthropic community.
