Program Director (Temporary)

Full time temporary program director for eviction and homeless services.

This position directs three contract-funded programs out of our Santa Clarita office: Emergency Shelter Services, Eviction Prevention/Rental Assistance, and Homeless Support Services.

Responsible for program/contract administration (including financial and program compliance monitoring), operations, community networking, fundraising/fund development, budgeting, and monthly billings. This position manages one case manager. Will work under the direction of an off-site area director. Will be responsible for building and strengthening community and church relationships, and creating/implementing a strong local public relations plan to grow the program.

Lutheran Social Services operates Community Care Centers in 6 counties throughout Southern CA. Desired skills:

Strong verbal and oral communication, financial budgeting, compliance auditing.

Desired Experience:

Grant writing, case management, and administration. Previous experience with the homeless population.

Desired Education:

Bachelor’s or master's degree in social work or related field. Or combination of education and experience.

Starting salary for this full-time position is 35,000-40,000 DOE.
