Parkinson's Disease Foundation - Webmaster/Website Coordinator (Part-Time)
The Parkinson's Disease Foundation (PDF) seeks a part-time Website Coordinator (20-25 hours per week) to support the online information needs of the organization. This position reports to the Communications Manager.
Responsibilities:
As an integral member of the organization, the Website Coordinator assists in the planning, development and implementation of the PDF website and online tools. The Website Coordinator is responsible for content management; print and multimedia design; eblast implementation; video support; coordination of reports and limited IT and administrative support. Additional responsibilities include interaction with vendors as it relates to NetCommunity projects and coordination with PDF staff to bring projects to completion. The coordinator is also responsible for ensuring that the website is accessible special populations and is optimized for maximum ranking in major search engines (SEO).
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with one to two years of related experience.

In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, Creative Suite, content management systems, Web standards and best practices.

Proficiency with MS Office.

Experience with Net Community (or similar systems), and Javascript preferred.

Flash development knowledge a plus, but not necessary.

Ability to adapt and innovate as technologies and standards change.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team and translate technical knowledge to staff as well as interact with general public.

Must be resourceful, self-starter and problem solver.

Must be flexible, with ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Proven commitment to nonprofit work and PDF's mission.
