Program Associate

The National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare, a non-profit organization, http://www.thenationalcouncil.org/ is the unifying voice of America’s behavioral health organizations. Together with our 2,000 member organizations, we serve our nation’s most vulnerable citizens -- more than 8 million adults and children with mental illnesses and addiction disorders.

The National Council is searching for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. This individual will have a critical role in supporting the implementation of strategies and activities including Mental Health First Aid, work force development initiatives, integrated care with voluntary health organizations and other projects as developed.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of program operation and /or development experience. Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships including as an effective member of a team. Masters in social work or related field preferred.
